Understanding your season cost
Every swimmer's cost is built from a few simple parts. Here's the full picture so there are no surprises:
- Season training fee: the main number listed for your group. Pay it in full, or spread it out: 30% at registration, then 10% on the 1st of each month, October through April. (Credit card only.)
- Swim Ontario / Swimming Canada fee: a one-time governing-body fee, invoiced November 1st. $66.50 for Mini Marlins & Junior Masters, $186.56 for all other groups. Non-refundable.
- Swim meet fees: pay-as-you-go, only when your swimmer races. Roughly $12-15 per event, plus a $25 coaching fee for away meets. (Performance-group meet fees vary.)
- A couple of groups have one extra: Junior Masters and Senior train at the YMCA, which requires a membership ($38-40/month, already factored into their KBM fee). Performance groups have additional program costs, noted in their section.
